Founded by Master Chocolatier, Dana Taylor Davenport, Dilettante is a celebrated gourmet chocolate company based in the Pacific Northwest. What began as a humble Chocolate Shoppe in the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington has blossomed into a thriving company featuring a full line of gourmet chocolates, bakery items, artisan coffee and dessert sauces. We also boast a Chocolate Martini Bar & Restaurant, along with our successful chain of Mocha Cafés.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to crafting decadent, gourmet products from the highest quality ingredients. Each of our delicious items is developed by Dana Davenport, our Master Chocolatier, who draws on heirloom family recipes for inspiration. Dana’s culinary heritage can be traced back through three generations of family tradition. His Grand Uncle Julius Franzen was a Master Confectioner and Pastry chef who served his world-class creations to the crowned heads of Europe in the late 1800’s.
